Mark Aruja is the Chairman of Unmanned Systems Canada, the national not-for-profit association representing the unmanned systems community. His involvement with USC started with its inception in 2003. After several years on the Executive, he was elected Chairman in 2015.
Mark has diverse experience in defence, government, industry and the not-for-profit sector spanning over 40 years. A 32 year aviation career in the Canadian Armed Forces included assignments as Wing Commander responsible for naval aviation, Director of Space Development, and Director General Joint Force Development. He subsequently spent 12 years with Thales before commencing his retirement as the Chairman of USC.
