The UK Government’s Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CCAV) works to develop a vibrant, world-leading industry while ensuring the UK domestic regulatory framework encourages the innovation and deployment of connected and automated mobility technology (CAM).
As Head of Strategy, Programme and Communications, Michael manages, stakeholders across public and private organisations to bring together a single vision for CAM policy and align efforts with policies in related technologies. He also manages the programme management office that reports on the $700million (CAN) investment into over 90 R&D and controlled, public and digital testing projects as well as the extent of CAM policy activities across teams.
Prior to CCAV, Michael was a Strategic Delivery Advisor for the Cabinet Office’s Infrastructure and Major Projects Authority where he advised senior responsible owners in successful delivery of their programmers.
Michael has a dual master’s degree from
Lancaster University and Ritsumeikan University in International Relations.
